Wynn Resorts operates luxury hotel casinos in Las Vegas and Macau,

The Wynn Las Vegas resort opened to the public on April 28, 2005 and features 2,716 luxurious guest rooms and suites; an 111,000 square foot casino; 22 restaurants; an on-site 18-hole golf course; 223,000 square feet of meeting space; an on-site Ferrari and Maserati dealership; and 76,000 square feet of retail space.
Encore Las Vegas, a near identical tower next to the Wynn, opened in December 2008. Encore features a 2,034 all-suite hotel, approximately 72,000 square foot casino, 12 food and beverage outlets, a night club, a spa and salon, approximately 60,000 square feet of meeting space and approximately 27,000 square feet of upscale retail outlets. There are 230 table games and 1,854 slot machines at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas. Wynn reported average room rates in Vegas of $258 at the end of 2013.
Wynn Resorts opened its Macau casino in 2006, 37 miles southwest of Hong Kong and the Encore at Wynn Macau opened on April 2010. Wynn Macau features 1,008 hotel rooms and suites, approximately 493 table games and 866 slot machines in approximately 100,000 square feet of casino gaming space, seven restaurants, approximately 57,000 square feet of retail space, a spa, a salon, entertainment lounges and meeting facilities.Encore at Wynn Macau opened on April, 2010. Encore is an expansion of Wynn Macau which adds a fully-integrated luxury hotel with 414 spacious suites and villas along with restaurants, additional retail space and gaming space. Average daily room rates in Macau were $313 at the end of 2013.
Founder Steve Wynn is a legend in Las Vegas and the casino industry. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mirage Resorts and its predecessor from 1973 to 2000. In that role, he was responsible for the development of Bellagio, The Mirage, Treasure Island at The Mirage and the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as the Atlantic City Golden Nugget in New Jersey and Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi. Wynn helped design and develop the famous dancing water fountains at the Bellagio.
For 2013, total revenues at Wynn Resorts were $5.63 billion, up from $5.15 billion, and net income of $1.0 billion.
The company has 7,000 employees in Macau and 9,500 in Las Vegas.
Wynn is planning to build a new resort containing a casino, hotel, convention, retail, entertainment and food and beverage offerings on land on the Cotai Strip it owns near Macau. It currently estimates the project budget to be in the range of $3.5 billion to $4.0 billion and will open in the first half of 2016.
