Station's properties are aimed at locals and are regional entertainment
destinations. They include various amenities such as restaurants,
entertainment venues, movie theaters, bowling and convention/banquet
space, as well as traditional casino gaming offerings such as
video poker, slot machines, table games, bingo and race and sports
wagering.
Station owns and operates nine hotel/casino properties under the Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Station and Fiesta brands and ten smaller casino properties in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. It also manages Gun Lake Casino in Allegan County, MI and Graton Resort and Casino in Sonoma County, CA.
The company began offering online poker in Nevada in April 2013 and real money online gaming in New Jersey in November 2013 through its majority-owned subsidiary, Fertitta Interactive LLC.
In 2013, the company reported revenues of $1.26 billion, a 2.6% increase.
History
The company was founded in 1976.
The Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa opened
on April 18, 2006. It is located on 70 acres of land close to
the majestic Red Rock mountains in Summerlin and is approximately
10 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip and a 20-minute drive from
McCarran International Airport. At a cost of $1 billion, Red
Rock was the most expensive casino resort ever built off the
mai Las Vegas Strip.
The company went private in 2007 after
Chairman and CEO Frank Fertitta led a buyout of the company's
stock for $8.8 billion.
The company filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and exited in 2011.
