History
Rodger Riney founds Scottsdale Securities
in Scottsdale, AZ, in 1980. The first two branch offices open
in St. Louis, MO, and Phoenix, AZ. Riney relocates headquarters
to St. Louis in 1981.
The company changed its name to just Scottrade
to reflect its Internet presence in 2000.
Scottrade opens its 200th branch office
in 2004.
