Pinkberry operates a chain of frozen yogurt
stores located in Los Angeles and New York. Yogurt is offered
in three flavors: plain, coffee and green tea. However, customers
can add a variety of toppings including kiwi, pineapple, almonds,
mango, strawberry, granola, fruity pebbles, raspberry, banana,
coconut and chestnut.

Ice and Smoothies.
There are about
40 stores currently and the chain is very popular with a younger
crowd. Lines typically form out the store at night and especially
weekends.
The chain first launched in 2005 and was
founded by Shelly Hwang and Young Lee.
In October 2007, venture capital firm Maveron
invested $27.5 million in the company. Maveron is led by Howard
Schultz, Chairman and CEO of Starbucks.
