On December 2, 1959, Northwest Community Hospital
opened its doors, marking the culmination of a multi-year community
effort led by a group of visionary civic and business leaders
who perceived the need for quality, community-focused healthcare
in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Since then, the community has grown, the
population has grown, and the needs have grown. Today, NCH is
a world-class hospital with 488 beds. Other facilities include
the William J. and Marion H. Busse Center for Specialty Medicine;
the Day Surgery Center; the Wellness Center; 24-hour emergency
treatment centers in Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich and Schaumburg;
the Schaumburg Imaging Center; the Youth Center for adolescents
with substance abuse problems; home healthcare services and several
medical office locations.
Northwest Community Hospital was named

There are 1,000 physicians serving the
hospital with offices throughout the Northwestern Chicago suburbs.

Paid Time Plan (PTP)
Based on hours worked, employees can accrue up to 19 days per
year for years one through four, 24 days for years four through
nine, 29 days for nine years and over. This is not a use it or
lose it plan. You may carry over from year to year, up to 60
days of paid time. PTP cash payouts are available up to 80 hours
per year.

Six paid holidays in addition to your PTP time.
