Vacation - Vacation eligibility ranges from two - four
weeks, depending on position and grade level.
Flexible Benefits
- M&T Bank's Flexible Benefits Plan allows employees to choose
the benefits and levels of coverage which best meet individual
and/or family needs. Employees are eligible to participate in
the Flexible Benefits Plan on the first of the month, following
date of hire.
Health / Dental - As an added advantage to M&T Bank
Corporation's Flexible Benefits Plan, eligibility to participate
in any of the Health/Dental Plans is effective the first of the
month, following date of hire.
Retirement Savings Plan - You may elect to contribute
up to 50% of your total pay (subject to IRS limits), upon hire,
provided you are age 21. Your actual biweekly contribution will
be based on total pay (includes base pay, overtime, all commissions,
and incentive pay). After one year of service, the Bank will
match your contribution at a rate of 100% on the first 3% and
50% on the second 3% of your contributions.
In addition, you will be automatically enrolled in M&T Bank
Corporation's non-contributory Retirement Accumulation Account
(RAA) after completion of one year of service, in which you have
worked 1000 hours, provided you are at least 21 years of age.
Life Insurance - Full-Time: Effective the first of
the month following your date of hire, you will automatically
be covered for one times your annual salary in life insurance
at no cost to you.
Part-Time: Effective the first of the month following your
date of hire, you'll automatically receive coverage for $6,000
in life insurance at no cost to you. Additional coverage levels
are available under the Flexible Benefits Plan.
Long Term Disability - Full-time: Effective the first
of the month following your date of hire, you will automatically
receive coverage in the amount of 60% of pay, at no cost to you.
Part-time: Long-term Disability is not available to part-time
employees.
Personal Accident Insurance - You have the option to purchase
various dollar amounts of personal accident insurance for you
and your family. Coverage is effective the first of the month
following your date of hire.
Travel Accident Insurance - M&T Bank Corporation provides coverage to
employees for accidental death or dismemberment as a result of
business travel or assault-related accidents. Coverage is effective
on date of hire at no cost to you.

Deposit Products:
An interest-bearing M&T SelectSM account
with no monthly service fee assessed as long as your paychecks
are automatically deposited in this account.
Free check orders.
Credit Products:
A discount on the Bank's rates for fixed-rate
installment and home equity loans and a 1.5% discount on the
rates for new and used automobile loans when payments are automatically
deducted from an M&T checking or savings account.
0.25% off the Bank's fully-indexed rate
for a home equity line of credit (with no balance transfer).
1% discount on interest rates for a new
