Liberty Global has customers in 19 countries principally located in Europe, Japan, Chile, and Australia. Liberty Global's operations also include significant media and programming businesses such as Jupiter TV in Japan and chellomedia in Europe.
Based on the Company's consolidated operating statistics at December 31, 2005 (other than those of NTL Ireland which we consolidate but do not control), Liberty Global's networks passed approximately 30.4 million homes and served approximately 19.2 million customers, including 13.4 million video subscribers, 3.2 million broadband Internet subscribers and 2.2 million telephone subscribers.
In 2005, the company reported revenues of $5.1 billion and a net loss of $84 million.
Liberty Global is a spinoff of the Liberty Media Corporation.
