History
Borden Chemical, Inc., Resolution Performance
Products LLC (RPP) and Resolution Specialty Materials LLC (RSM)
merged (together with Bakelite AG, which Borden Chemical acquired)
to form Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc, in 2005. Hexion Specialty
Chemicals is owned by an affiliate of the private investment
firm Apollo Management, L.P.
