Genuine products and services are offered though a network of over 1,800 operations located across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Genuine Parts is made up of four groups: AUTOMOTIVE: The Automotive Parts Group, the largest division of GPC, distributes over 300,000 products though it's 58 NAPA distribution centers located across the United States. The Automotive Parts Group also consists of UAP Inc., Canada's leading automotive parts distributor now going to market as NAPA Canada, and Johnson Industries, the nation's largest independent distributor of AC Delco, Motorcraft, and other aftermarket parts. INDUSTRIAL: The Industrial Parts Group, which operates under the name Motion Industries, distributes over three million items from 463 operations located throughout the Unites States and Canada. Motion's rapid-delivery model provides customized product and technical expertise to customers in a just-in-time response, enabling clients to reduce production cots and free working capital. OFFICE: The Office Products group distributes over 30,000 business products from 44 distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada under the name S.P.Richards Company to over 7,000 independent and national resellers, including a number of the "Mega channel" dealers. ELECTRICAL: The Electrical/Electronic Materials Group was formed in 1998 through the acquisition of EIS, the national's largest distributor of electronic and electrical apparatus. The group distributes over 100,000 items from 33 locations nationwide and in Mexico. In 2004, the company had revenues of $9.0 billion and net income of $395.5 million.
