Established in 1996, Evercore Partners is a boutique investment banking firm providing advisory services to multinational corporations and financial sponsors on significant mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and other strategic corporate transactions.
Evercore also has an investment management business through which it manages private equity funds, institutional assets and private wealth. Investment Banking
The advisory business provides confidential, strategic and tactical advice to both public and private companies. Evercore supports top corporate officers and boards of directors as a trusted senior advisor, helping them devise strategies for enhancing shareholder value. Secured and unsecured constituencies also work with Evercore to maximize investor recoveries in restructuring situations.
Investment Management
The investment management business manages and invests capital on behalf of a broad range of institutional and high net worth investors. Evercore Asset Management, LLC, our traditional asset management affiliate, makes investments in publicly traded U.S. companies. Evercore Wealth Management, LLC, provides customized investment and wealth management services to families, individuals and related institutions. Evercore Trust Company, N.A. ("Evercore Trust Company") specializes in providing independent fiduciary services, including investment management and fiduciary decision-making services, to employee benefit plans. The firm's private equity funds are value-oriented and focus on the middle market.
In 2010, Evercore reported record revenues of $378.8 million, a 20% increase, and net income of $17.8 million.
