Denny's Corporation is America's largest family-style restaurant chain in terms of market share and number of units. Denny's, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Denny's Holdings, Inc. and Denny's, Inc., owns and operates the Denny's restaurant brand. The restaurants are best-known for their "Grand Slam" breakfasts and currently offer $2, $4, $6, $8 value menu.

Denny's currently has 1,702 franchised, licensed, and company restaurants around the world including 1,596 restaurants in the United States and 106 restaurants in Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras, Guam, Curacao, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Chile and New Zealand.

Most Denny's restaurants are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This "always open" policy is a distinct advantage over competitors. Denny's menu offers traditional American-style food such as breakfast items, appetizers, sandwiches, dinner entrees and desserts. Denny's sales are broadly distributed across each of its dayparts (i.e., breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night); however, breakfast items account for the majority of Denny's sales.

In 2014, the company reported combined sales of $2.6 billion from its restaurants with a 2.8% gain systemwide.

In 2014, Denny's opened 38 franchised restaurants, including six international locations.

Denny's closed 36 locations in 2014.

The company remodeled and reopened its flagship location at the Casino Royale Hotel in Las Vegas in November. This restaurant can seat more than 300 guests and has been the highest-grossing location in the entire chain.
