BJ's Restaurants, Inc. currently owns and operates 146 casual dining restaurants under the brand names BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, BJ's Pizza & Grill.

BJ's restaurants offer a broad menu of over 100 items featuring award-winning, signature deep-dish pizza complemented with generously portioned salads, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts.

The Company operates several microbreweries in addition to using qualified contract brewers to produce and distribute BJ's acclaimed handcrafted beers throughout the chain.

The Company's restaurants are located in California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Washington, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico and Virginia.

In fiscal 2013, BJ's Restaurants reported revenues of $775.1 million, a 9.4% increase, and net income of $21.0 million.

The company opened 17 new restaurants in 2013 and believes there is room for 425 restaurants nationwide.


It was 1978, two guys had a great recipe for deep dish pizza and opened the first BJ’s Chicago Pizzeria in Santa Ana, CA. The pizza was an immediate hit and, as years went by, new BJ’s restaurants were opened in beach cities along Southern California’s coastline. In 1996, with seven restaurants in operation from San Diego to Los Angeles, the first BJ’s brewery began production in our new restaurant in Brea, CA.

The introduction of fine handcrafted beer was welcomed by guests and the newly renamed BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery concept was launched. New menu items and new beers have been added through the years as the BJ’s brand has expanded across the U.S.

New managers and eligible dependents are eligible to enroll in our insurance programs the first day of the month following the 30th day of employment.

Hourly Restaurant Team Members

New team members and eligible dependents are eligible to enroll in our insurance programs the first day of the month following the 90th day of employment and continue to be eligible to enroll at the first day of subsequent months provided they meet the minimum hour requirements.
