History
Arrow began as a retail electronics store
on New York City's Radio Row in 1935. Arrow went public in 1961
with two retail stores and an electronics distribution business.
Arrow would discontinue its retail division
in 1976, concentrating exclusively on growing the distribution
and refining business. By 1979, Arrow would be listed on the
NYSE. The same year, Arrow acquires Cramer Electronics, making
the company a national coast-to-coast distributor for the first
time
